I've had my car for about 7 months and can'r seem to get better than about 46-48...how are others doing?

That mileage is about right. More city driving the better the mileage. The more you go over 40mph the less mileage you will get. I know the sticker said 50/60 mpg but I've never heard of anyone getting 60mpg.

I know of a way that you can make your prius give you about 100 miles per gallon for about $8k, it is a small price to pay to know you are helping the environment and contributing to stop global warming.

I get 17 mpg in my 77 bonneville.But then again I have not had a car payment in 20 years.
