you have a lot of time on your hands..you could start with easy things like cutting soda and fast foods out of your diet completely...i lost 14 pounds in 6 weeks before last summer that way.....also if you drink the recommended amount of water a day, than your body will retain less water also causing you to lose weight...you will have the inconvenience of going to the bathroom more often but you'll look and feel 10x better. whatever you do, don't fall for the online gimmicks and spent money on these stupid programs....if you look at my advice not only will you lose weight, but you'll probably save money
good luck

I don't eat fast food, nor do I drink soda unless it is diet. I tend to stay with water and/or crystal light as well as watching portion sizes.
I do weight watchers because it works. There is plenty of online recipes, tips, and information.

Walking is proven to be the exercise to get you started. Drink a lot of fluids and you'll probably disagree with me but you have to eat in order to lose. If you don't give your body some fuel to burn the fat, then your efforts will be stale.
Of course you can try the starvation mode which is why I gave you the helpful tips above.
Stay focused, stay safe.
