When filing income tax do you have to claim a childs SSI {disability for the child} or the money paid to you by the non custodal parent for support of the child? I'd assume since it is unearned income you do not. Also can the return be directly deposited into an account without the payee's name on it? Meaning my sugnifigant other and I do not have a joint account but he wants to deposit it into my account, his name is not on the account. Or would we need to have a hardcopy check mailed to us, and have him sign his name then me sign mine for the deposit?

This is the first year he will be filing head of household as I did not work in 2006 {due to doctors orders} we have one child together that is 8 months old and I have custoday of my daughter {her father never sees her} and we support her about 75% or more. I'll assume he can claim her to with my permission? Since her biological father is not allowed to claim her on taxes ever
