anyone knows whats the best applications to make ur feet stay dry? my husband has a wound in his left feet and its almost 2 months now and its now healing but its not that big i always put some hydrogyn peroxide and some oilment and it dries sometimes and sometimes its getting ok but i was just wondering why its been 2 months now . still its not healing? and it itch so much . is it because of the shoes he is wearing?

Has he ever been tested for sugar issues...wounds tend to heal very slowly when you have this problem...especially in your extremities...

Any wound that doesnt want to heal needs to be checked by a doctor. A dermatologist would be the best. Also, your husband should be checked for diabetes.

Try using Ster Zac powder on your feet.Wash and dry thoroughly feet every day, as salt accumulation from skin will slow up healing. and dust with the Ster Zac powder it is also used to dry the umbelical cord on newborn babies, so it will keep dry and clean. if not available , use non perfumed talc, to make sure feet are dry hope you have success with this. also use powder inside socks. to prolong the process.

Could be the shoes. He needs to wear leather so his skin can breath, that will help with healing

I would encourage you to find him a pair of cold weather sock LINERS, they breathe and pull air in and wick the moisture away from the foot.

Not expensive, i would recommend several pairs so you can change them often.
