So I love my boyfriend and I love going down on him but theres always this weird smell that absolutely grosses me out and ruins the moment for me...and him cause i have to stop once i smell it lol. He asks if i dont like doing it to him and i lied saying i was just a lil shy, i didnt want to hurt his feelings. But my question is, is this normal? if not, how do get him to wash his "member" everyday if he doesnt already without hurting his feelings?

It is semi-normal.
Most ***** smell bad after a day work/school, because there is a lot of sweat produced right next to it (between the balls and the leg)
Cleaning it helps for about two hours or so, so it is important to do that 'just in time'.
Why not go to the shower with him? wash it for him, he'll enjoy that ;)

The truth? The truth is that in a solid relationship a girl would be able to tell the guy to wash before hand and he wouldn't go off on her. But, if you don't KNOW that you're on a solid emotional footing, you worry and fret and sweat and lie and hide the truth.
A gross smell is not normal. It is not normal for a guy to be hurt if you ask him to wash before hand and lying to him isn't normal either. All those things are true if your connection with him isn't on a firm footing.

Just have a shower with him. Its really sweet to do so anyway :)
Make sure to wash his little guy well. After the shower, go down on him and complement him for how nice it smells down there. While you are down there tell him you really like being there if it smells that nice.
Men are EXTREMELY vulnerable with a woman between their legs. And they would do anything to keep her there. ;)
Just be cute, sweet and tell the truth (in a cute-sweet not really straightforward way). Makes wonders :)

ok.. first of all.. is he circumsised or not?
if he is, the smell maybe coming from something he eats.
is he a big meat eater? does he eat alot of veggies like cabbage and squash? if so, try getting him to eat sweet stuff like fruits and drink fruit juices. that may help
if he isnt circumsised, it may be the way he cleans himself.
uncircumsised men should be pulling the foreskin back and clean the penis throughly. this is something you could try together in the shower. make it erotic. next time things get heated up, take his clothes off, and take him to the shower, and scrub him down. tell him that when things get heated up you would prefer for the two of you to get nice and clean TOGETHER. that way it doesnt look like your targeting him.
this is tough to do, i understand where your coming from. whatever you do, dont tell him you find him smelly, you will embarass him. just do the shower thing together and that you would enjoy both of you getting clean together..
and try eating sweet things too.. eating habits can affect..

More often than not, we do. There are a lot of studies that say it is a full bladder, some say fantasizing about sex, some even say that the feeling of having a full bladder can invoke the fantasizing due to the pressure placed on the prostate, etc. The answer to your question would still be a resounding, "yes"...but the reasons why are a question of who's "studies" you put more stock in. OK it's normal if the guy doesnt take good care of his hygene.

tell him you will only full around if he showeres first so he's real clean cause you've been getting sore thoart and to make sure he washes his butt hole too that probably what your smelling , he probably thinks just because he wiped after going poop you cant smell it anymore , just sat " IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW ILL TELL YOU < but if you dont then i wont !! let him make the choice on how much he wants it " :)

suggest that both of you take a shower together before makeing love, rub him down in some sweet smelling oils then get busy

Nope, it isn't normal. You must let him know. Well, one of the ways without directly telling him is have him to read magazine like Cosmopolitan's Sex Q&A section with you, let him know it's just hygienic issue. This, won't hurt him much. The magazine says it, not you.
