The yellow liquid is normal for vomit, and only looks worse when they have eaten grass to give it a stronger color.
Dogs throw up more than humans do- it would be helpful if you keep track of how much water your dog drinks, when it does his business, so that if you really do have a problem, you can give helpful info to the vet.
Do not feed your dog right away. Rest the gut and offer food in 12 hours, and not as much as he wants. Also- look at the color of his gums to see if they are within normal limits for color or if they are pale or yellow. Potty problems in the house are also signs of a sick dog, and then it's really time to take them to the vet.
I hope this helps

The yellow liquid is bile, we all have it. If he is eating and drinking, AND it is coming out the other end (i.e. pooping and peeing) that's a good sign. And if he is acting his normal self otherwise, and not lethargic, that too is good. He more than likely ingested something (like grass) that is upsetting his tummy or simply a reaction to the food he is eating. I would certainly take him to the Vet first, but be aware that some dogs do barf often. If the Vet doesn't see anything wrong and it continues, often times a little Pepto once or twice a day and maybe a little yogurt in his diet (plain, mixed in his food) should help. Don't worry...

It sounds like bile, and is fairly normal to see when a dog is throwing up. I would definitely suggest taking him to the vet, he may have eaten something he can't digest, and the vet can help with that.
Sometimes when my dog is sick like that i will give him white rice, or even half of a chewable pepto bismol tablet. I would still say get some feedback from your vet, you also want to make sure he is not dehydrated.

This could be bile but it could also be a case of food poisoning. It would be best for your dog and best for your peace of mind for you to take it to the vets. Throwing up as much as that will be making your dog very unhappy. Don't waste any more time.

It will be that the dog has an empty stomach..All dogs do it once in a while.. If it is more than that I'd get to a vet right away ..

If it's yellow, then most likely it's bile. The best and safest thing to do, is to get her to the vet, and have her examined and treated, before it gets any worse.

Yup get down to the vet. It could be a simple obstruction or as serious as a turned stomach.

the last time this happened with my dog, she had just been boarded...it is probably just a flu type thing...or maybe your dog just ate something that did not agree with him or her. before you waste a trip to the vet...call them and explain the symptoms....they might tell you to wait to see if it gets better....it might save you some time and some cash...if it does not get better, definately go to the vet
