Well, for a school dance tonight I am trying to do a layered look with my hair. I just got a copy of a magazine.. and love the style. It is the flared out look, kind of like what Miley Cyrus uses as one of her Hannah Montana wigs. It makes her hair look layered, and then flares out at the ends.. I tried testing it out with a straightener.. and it didn't work so well.. any ideas?

You probably need to have the ends trimmed in a way to make it do it. Go have your hair done. She will style it in a way that it will work for you, and you can see how she does it and ask her to teach you how.

try straightening little peices in the back spray them and then straighten the peices on top of the peices you just sprayed...i think that might work better

Show your style to a hair dresser. I'll bet they can do it AND teach you.
