Honestly looks....Thats the first thing that comes out when you see the person so its obviously the first thing that you notice.....But personality is VERY important...I wouldn't date anyone who didn't have a great personality....When i look at the opposite sex the first thing i look at is eyes....they can say alot, without having to let one word out....

The first thing I notice is the overall body including the way the person holds himself, interacts with other people if he is talking to someone, the clothes he is wearing (which tells me how he wants to be noticed), his posture, etc. Then I zone in on his eyes. The eyes are probably one of the most important things to look at because as cliche as it sounds, a person's eyes ARE a reflection of their soul- their true personality as well.

Looks is the 1st thing. You can't know their personality until you get to know them...how can that be first? But if she has no personality, I drop her like she's poop.
But now that I think about it more, I guess that's the male perspective on that question. Men are usually more "visual" than women are. Most girls and women always talk about "how sweet" a guy is/was. Guys (most) never think in terms of "SWEET" personality when it comes to the ladies.

Well it obviously can't be personality that I notice first since at first glance I don't know there personality. So I guess out of your 2 choices it's going to have to be looks.

Im in love with a blonde at my school not for her looks but for her personality. I didnt even like her or even notice her until she started talking to me.

Smile -- which involves both looks and personality. If it's absent, forget about her.
Looks which display personality.
Is she a masculine type or a girly type and how does she dress -- pants or skirt.
Is she a well-manicured type (shaved legs, no hairiness anywhere) or is she a "nautral" type with moustache and hairy legs)
Do her breasts look natural or otherwise.
