I attempted to download Edonkey today, not knowing it was shut down, and basically only wanted it because my limewire hasn't worked in a while. When I got onto the site I saw that it had logged my IP. Is there any danger here? I have never had Edonkey on my computer before so therefore not downloaded any music etc from it. Although I have from limewire, can I be found out about my limewire downloads now?

That is scamming site and they will take your details if that is the case...
If you used a different site:
I would unplu my Modem/Router and wait aroud 30 mins for the device to restart. When you next conect to the Interent you will have a new IP address..
Should be fairly okay though..
However if you did use the site I meantioned I would change my password(s) just to make sure, and clear Internet cookies. Alos run a virus check and spyware application.
