Adam is a fictional character. He didn't really exist. There was no global flood. That is also a fictional story.
Cavemen drew the cave drawings.

I think the more PROPER question is when the person came up with the theory of Evolution, could they have POSSIBLY read the bible first? they DO SAY Darwin was practicing to be a Pastor before the death of his son(?) and then he began his theory. I mean it seems that Adam and the caveman can be linked in a sense. I.E. (How could the "Caveman" come up with a "Tunic" to conseal his nakedness? (Didn't Adam and Eve use Leaves?)Why would he when everything else around him would be considered naked? In the Bible it says "God made them (Adam & Eve) tunics for clothing. And once out of the Garden, on the not so great land, work must have been BACK BREAKING, since it was his first time. And take "Age." Maybe he was hairy in the garden(Hey guys, our "Thing" is covered with hair.) and afterwards, it grew. Now consider you don't KNOW HOW TO CUT YOUR HAIR in that time, until later. And maybe dinosaurs were in different regions of the globe? (Hense I don't know where the location of where the MAJORITY of dinosaurs were discovered.) And maybe these things COULD HAVE happened before the flood if you consider the length of how long the Kings of the Pre-Flood Era lived. (No one can deny that because we are still trying to achieve how to live that long.) As far as paintings of dinosaurs, I really don't know if that's true. But if it is then it might raise a question about that...

cave painting can be found in various locations around the globe. some of the oldest paintings are in australia. these date back 50,000 years ago. others are found in France and in the Americas. All of them were painted by modern man, known as homo sapien sapien. most reflect the hunt or shamanistic activities. Interestingly, a painting in Australia shows the oldest picture of a boat known today.

Adam was not a neanderthal. He was a human. There is also some new evidence that man and neanderthal may have procreated so this also suggests they may have lived at the same time. The link is below:

Have you ever though those early Old Testament people had kids who liked to write on walls? Mnay were cave dwellers.
In any case any so called 'paintings' can be easily fabricated and misinterpreted....
Thanks for asking.

Those paintings were done by Adam and Eve's kids and then the grandchildren. Sort of the equivalent to hanging the drawings on the 'fridge nowadays. Everyone knows that. ;-)
***Oh for heaven's sake, I was kidding folks. Is it too early in the morning for a sense of humor? :-(

Even if Adam existed, he wsn't the first man.
People already "dwelled in the Land of Nod".
"Nod" means "Vagrancy".
Nomads?
*edit* To Maureen P:
Neanderthal and modern man crossbreeding? This explains a LOT of things about a LOT of people I know.....

They were the descendants of Adam and Eve and Noah after the flood.
They didn't draw dinosaurs because after the flood, the dinosaurs died due to climate change.
