In what context did you find this? Could be gibberish. I have Japanese friends, and sometimes get attachments that look weird
because the Japanese part can't be transferred.
The formerly Japanese gibberish I get doesn't look quite like that, so maybe it's a gibberish version of another language with a non-roman alphabet.
Or perhaps it's a code. I'd like to know, too!!

I am almost sure that it is Russian that changed this way because of the incompatibility of encodings. U have a Russian or russian-speaking friend who wrote u this?
Because when i send messaged in Russian to my friends using yahoo or hotmail, these sites do not recognize sometimes the text and encode it this way. It could be decoded (but not always) by changing the Encoding, try to chose one by one all the types of Cyrillic Encoding, or Unicode (UTF-8)..
