windows xp has a welcome screen that i would like to have in my windows 2000 is there anyway i can get it in my set up. it has the icon pictures and the screen name and passwords

The only way you will get it is by upgrading to XP.

I,m sure you can edit the boot screen,
but you better backup, before you start playing around.
