The feast of trumpets or Rosh Hashana has been associated with the rapture date being the next feast to be prophetically fulfilled after Pentecost. It is also the feast where the Jewish Last Trump is blown by shofar and the Hidden Day. Look out for this year's Rosh Hashana.

I've read something regarding the Bible Code that "Armageddon" was found crossing 5766. This year is the Jewish year of 5766 (since last September). But Jesus said we would not know his return. It is very possible than it will be this year, but it is also impossible to know for sure. As bad as things are getting he must be coming soon. I think also that when Israel became a nation again in the 1940's it definitely marked the beginning of the end.

No rapture

Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6

33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

It is in 2009 that the conjunction and the first visible sliver (of moon) fall on the same day on Yom Terua. That might indicate that that is a significant day. From the prophecies of Daniel and Rev. I believe that The Savior (His name is Yahoshua) will not come back much before then. However, it seems that the statement of Rev 22:11 (what we see as the "close of probation") might be very soon.

Whatever some would like to Wish, Jesus said something will happen that is so terrible the sky will darken and the sun and moon will barely give thier light. THEN, the sign of the Son of Man
will appear. Some try to say that is just symbolic. That remains to be seen.

Sigh.. you pretribbers have been asking this question every year since this whole pretrib thing started. You come up with all kinds of reasons that "THIS YEAR" is THE year.. still, no rapture.

How about taking some responsibility for your part in things like global warming, war, famine, et al instead of waiting for your pie-in-the-sky-bye-and-bye god to come and fix all the problems you've created instead?

No one knows the date or time! I hate when people always try to "guess" when its going to happen! The best thing is to just be ready and forgiven for your sins.

Snap out of your fantasy and try living in the real world. There is no rapture and there is no Jesus-deal with it.
