Actually I find the thought of God having a sense of humor very comforting. And, I am sure that a lot of the questions and answers on this website have Him laughing hysterically at times. I often get a little tickled myself!

Of course He has a sense of humour. If you troubled yourself to read the Gospels, you would see that Jesus showed a wonderful sense of humour. He told entertaining tales and called His friends by nicknames. How would children have loved Him as much as they did if He had been humourless?

why would that worry me - and yes he has a huge sense of humor - let me give you some examples! the platypus , politicians , broccoli , the Chevy Malibu ,winter in the Midwest and don't forget

I greatly prefer the thought of a jolly god with a good sense of humor to the notion of a jealous, vengeful god as put forth in the bible.

I think its a very dry one, with a subtle preference for the absurd
(ie making a mockery of honest and decent peoples aspirations and rewarding pointless idiots with wealth and long life)
