Once you understand that you are but a drop in a great big sea.... You are humble....deflating the ego is the path towards humility.....

Without the Faith (of Jesus) it is impossible to please God and Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God and how shall they hear without a Preacher and how shall they Preach unless they be sent. Well the day that one truly hears God's voice which is his word when he calls can be considered a begining if he/she truly believes God's Word. God resisteth the proud but giveth grace to the humble. But to try and answer your question with an answer that I feel that will really be understood is to say that: To become like Jesus in whom had no sin neither was there found any guile in his mouth is truly being humble as he is. We as true followers of Christ should be as he is you can't become anymore humble than he is. The servant is not above his Lord. He already told his believers what to do: be ye perfect as your Father which is in heaven is perfect among other things, yet there are people who will say and have said you can't be perfect nobody is perfect! Well you can ask that person or consider it for yourself: Why would Jesus tell his disciples/believers to be something that was impossible or yet deny his father who is perfect. Yet on the other hand someone has just said if you really take heed to what they have truly said is that God is not perfect neither is there anyone else because in their heart they don't even consider God much more being perfect when they left him out of the equation and others that God said was perfect. So because of one's ignorance in acknowledging God one might even say that it is contradicting Jesus Words and some might even dare to say that by that person saying such makes that person as one who lied about God. So to be taught of God by who he really sent one could equate it to his saying that it is written in the King James Version of the Bible "There's an understanding for the People of God" I sincerely hope that what I have expressed will be of great assistance to you or whoever may benefit from this.

u can be humble by believing in god(Allah) cause when u do u will do everything then just to make god happy of u, so u can become humble by let go this life and not care about so much and live for god to make god glad cause that is our mission in this life to build gods world and to be a good examples especially if u were Muslim then u will know what i mean..

Great question.
I've heard it said that humility is awareness of the presence of God. I think the more we become aware of who God is and are aware of His power, the more we realize that we are not Him. The more we realize we are not God and are desperately in need of Him- the more we become humble. Instead of focusing on "becoming humble" maybe focus on being in the presence of God and as you grow in awe of Him- the result will be humility.
