I have a BTEC NCVQ in communication and another in I.T. Can anyone tell me what they are equivlent to..(GCSE, A Level etc) Are they stand alone qualifications?

Never heard of NCVQ - know all about NVQ and GNVQ. NVQ Level 2 is GCSE, Level 3 A level, Level 4 degree... You could contact BTEC (or perhaps look on their website) so the answer. Good luck.

I've not heard of them before, so I don't know of the conversion. Perhaps contacting your college might help, especially if the qualifications have been 're-branded' since you did them (like how GCSE's used to be calle O-levels) as modern UCAS point conversion tables won't be able to help

yes they are stand alone qualifications it will depend on what level i.e. level 2 level 3 roughly equates to an A level

An NCVQ isn't equivalent to anything. It's one of these new fangled qualifications.
