I don't quite understand why someone called you a loser....Anyway, South California is so beautiful. Over the summer I visited San Diego and surrounding places such as La Jolla, which turned out to be the most beautiful place I've seen so far in the US. I went more north (though not considered to be that north) to San Francisco and it was much colder and the scenery wasn't as nice. I prefer South California, and would love to go back, yet I have NO desire to go back to SF...but it depends on your taste I guess.

I prefer SoCal. I find the people in SoCal more relaxed, happier. The people in Northern California seem stressed. Maybe it's the cost of living in the Bay Area weighing people down.
