What the hell is your problem?

Shall I tell you how many times I've tripped over my cat and fallen flat on my face trying not to step on him? LOL

Seriously, I disagree with tossing the little bugger onto the bed. There's a reason your cat is underfoot (or even walking across you and standing in your line of vision while you're watching TV)...cats are social creatures and he's either asking for something or just wants to be with you. There's nothing wrong or bad about this behavior. One thing I've learned by having cats is how to be patient. They communicate their needs and desires differently than us humans. My advice is to pick up the little guy, love him, scratch his head, then gently set him back down. Talk to him in a normal tone of voice.

Yes, and he walks along like he has all the time in the world...which he does, but I don't. I sometimes straddle him and try to get ahead of him or I scoot real close to him and touch his tail or the back of his legs. That will sometimes put a bit more "rush" in him so I can around him.

Oh yes, both of mine do this all the time especially first thing in the morning when I'm half awake or when I'm carrying something. I think they do it just to keep us on our toes. Also my one cat has a habit of spreading out in the middle of the staircase and refuses to move. They can be brats but I love them.

Yes, and sometimes they straddle by the side of my feet when I am walking. That is why I have learned to do the kitten shuffle. :)
My husband learned the hard way and accidentally stepped on a kitten (4 weeks old) and broke his leg. Cost us a bunch but he now knows how to do the kitten shuffle.

I just think he's trying to protect me he'll walk in front and look both ways as to say it's safe to go forward. I find it cute.

Yes, except that mine actually goes out of his way to trip me.

He'll wait until the last minute to run in front of me and he'll ram into my legs.

He's a huge brat.

Yeah, mine does it when I get up in the morning to greet me, then when I go to put on my shoes, she rolls around on my feet or when I'm on the computer she wants to be on the key board. and when I walk around she'll take a swipe at my leggs after I've passed by. she's a real PIP.

Well yes !!! I don't yell at them, they understand with a firm voice. My male cat wants me to feed him his wet food. The kitten is learning his ways, it's really kind of cute, be patient. When they cuddle with you, they are trying to heal you.

Only all the time, you'd think they'd learn once they'd been stepped on a couple of times, but no, they just keep on doing it.
