No, you can not. The 400D takes EF or EF-S mount lenses. There are other manufacturers but Pentax is not one of them. Try Canon lenses, they are the best. If you have to get other lenses, go with Tamron or Sigma. Make sure they know it is for the Canon...

I know of no Pentax/Canon adaptor which would enable a Pentax lens to be used on a Canon camera, so the answer has to be 'no'.
