depends whose lord you are talking about. I think he does if you want him to.
I'm not a religious person, but fom the way you phrase your question, it sounds like yours does not. It sounds like he's very much the stern, serious type.
Try to just live a good life and don't take these things so seriously. Who cares what the lord thinks or what you think the lord would think, or what the Bible says. You should only be accountable to your own conscience. If you can do that and look at yourself in the mirror and smile, you will have achieved more than most church-goers.
By the way,
Andreika (above) sounds like a total nutter. I've heard that there is a bible belt in America. Are there very many people there who are that misguided and brainwashed? I really hope not.
I've also heard that they are now teaching creationism in science classes in many schools there now, and rejecting Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Does anyone else (ie Americans) find this outrageous???

Yes I do. Do you recall when Jesus looked out upon the sea and saw his disciples struggling to make headway against a strong wind. The men are rowing with all their might.
At seeing that, Jesus descends from the mountain and begins walking toward the boat across the waves. The boat had gone about three or four miles when Jesus reached it. However, he continued on as though he is going to pass by. The disciples thought it was an apparition!
Of course, Jesus did calm the wind, but I think it hysterical that he walked as if he were going to pass them by.
And what about our heavenly Father, Jehovah, the Bible tells us that the Creator is a “happy God,” and that he made man ‘according to his likeness.’ The ability to be happy, to have fun, to enjoy a sense of humor, innate to all races of men, must logically have come from the Creator. Look at the antic of animals that make us laugh, or just look at the creation of them, the duck-billed platypus, the anteater, the dolphin, all were made to create laughter and amusement in us.

LMFAO ROFL!! That is rich...okay I find this beyond amusing and foretelling:
"By the way,

Wit, sarcasm and irony go RIGHT over some people's limited little heads!!! Especially those like cgibbnsuk who take themselves and their opinions THAT seriously. It is always the " I am far too logical and reasonable to believe in such a silly thing as god." Types....the best humor and cynicism of all beguiles them at best and nulls them (more than they already are) at worst.

Too many children are born with AIDS for that to be the case. Too many people die of starvation or live without ever sleeping under a roof for that to be the case. Although God is not without a sense of irony, He is without a human style sense of humor.
