Well there really arent any unless you are not a camper.
myself I love the great outdoors!!! Make sure you bring allot of firewood because we have enough people cutting down trees in our forests. One dissadvantage I came across, is how to keep your drinks cold for days on end without the ice melting away!!

The nights and mornings are cold, usually.
You're limited as to what food you can bring and you need a safe and proper way to store it so you don't attact animals.
The ground gets damp in the morning and unless you've got a really nice tent with a protective tarp, you'll feel it.
Keeping clean is a huge pain, and hot water can only be got in small quantities from heating it yourself.
Bugs. Bugs bugs bugs. 'Nuff said.
There's only so much to do out in the woods.

Tents tend to get dirty inside, and its basically like sleeping outside without a tent, if its hot or cold you feel it. Washing and cleaning is a mission, and a lot of camping sides, you're without electricity!

i don't like the hard ground or the bugs or having to pull my pants down in the open and the thoughts of snakes getting in my bed scares me to death. then you only have a limited supply of food and water so if an animal gets into your stuff--the trip is usually over.
