Girl with lots of tats

2007-01-19 00:08:32 · 21 answers · asked by ? 3 in Beauty & Style Skin & Body Tattoos

I have what I consider my jewlery, I am by no means covered, however I have one on each upper arm, and one around my forearm plus others which are on back & hip, I knew receiving these over the past 14 years (and none look like ink blots, I researched my artist, he has won many awards and they look the same as they did when I got them if not better) I come from a upper class background and am well educated but I love the way they look and most of my family can't imagine me without them, they are very much me! I suppose I just wonder why it matters so much to people I am not offended by people and their ignorance I think they just need too understand that it is not their place to judge. That is the lesson I have learnt from my tats NOT TO JUDGE.
Also my doctor is very aware I have many tattoos but constantly tells me to donate blood because I am O- which is compatible with any so I will have to check that out!

I got my first tattoo on my back at 15 a few, (many) years ago. I then got an addiction and got more on my lower back, stomach, boobs, shoulder, and upper left thigh. At 18 I got my last tattoo which is a traditional tattoo chiseled into the skin of my right thigh with sharp razors of pigs teeth. This was a hell of a lot sorer than the ones done by the electric needle.

I know I'm going to contradict myself here, because I have alot of tattoo's. And I love tattoo's on men. But I don't like seeing girls who flaunt their tattoo's. And I dont like seeing people who get traditional tattoo's when they really don't know the significant meaning to them, but get one because they like the look of it. My tattoo's are covered by my clothing, and can only be seen by others when I go swimming. People tell me I should show them off because their great tattoo's. But I like it this way because they are personal to me.
This is just my personal view, I do think there are some really nice tattoo's on girls.

I've had a tattoo for over 20 years and now it looks like an ink blot! I wish I never got it.

If you're thinking of getting one, find someone that has had one for well over 15 years then make the decision if it's something you'd want.

I have no problem with girls having tattoos. I think it is very attractive and the tattoos they have tell me about the person wearing them without haveing to even have formally met. I think that tattoos are a fantastic way to express yourself. I am personally in the process of having my 11th tattoo finished.

I think people are by nature ignorant a judgemental. I have a couple tattoos, and I love them. I don't really give a damn what people think. Because as much as someone might hate my tattoos, I'm sure there's something about them I could hate. So, hey, why don't we all stop giving people sh*t.

I agree with Alex C. Girls with tattoos do look rebellious, and rebellion has always been associated with disagreeability, bullying, and other behaviors that cause misery to other people's lives.

I'm what you consider as a nice girl but, personally, I think tattoos are cool. But only if the tattoos cover just a small patch of your skin. People who are covered with tattoos are not aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.

However, I would have opted for getting one if only they allow people with tattoos to donate blood.

people stereotype people with tattoos. most people without tattoos and even a lot of people WITH tattoos but who aren't submerged in the tattoo culture don't understand that having more tattoos doesn't make you a freak or a tramp or a drug addict, or people with low self esteem who need attention or any other negative thing you can think of.

the good thing is that most girls who have a lot of tattoos really don't care what closed minded people think and say about their tattoos because they love themselves already and don't need outside approval.
i have tattoos and love them. i'm proud to wear the beautiful art on my skin.

because they are narrow minded. I do think too many does not look good. No one complains when a female or male modifies their body with piercings, even just ears, but probably because tattoos are permanent... but what problem is that to the observer? right?
