its probably not drastically unsafe, but it might stuff up your posture and whack spine out of balance over time.
what id be more concerned about is that ur 13 and possibly looking at loosing weight. if you make sure what you eat is healthy, they weight will naturally fall off as you get bigger.
dont set yourself up for negative thinking at this age :) go do some running or surfing or something fun thats physical

At your age, you have probably not completely developed yet, so it might not be a good idea, to do any weight bearing exercise at this point in your life. Starting to weight train to early can cause serious stunting of growth, as well as set you up for much bigger problems, when you get older.

It probably not really that safe. Especially if your only three teen. It would only be necessary if you has an ankle injury to help keep your ankles strong.

i'm assuming you are wanting to wear these as a way to help tone and excercise. 2 pounders are quite a bit for someone of your age and can cause some cramping and soreness since you are not used to them. i would start with a smaller weight and get used to it before i moved up in size

You should be fine. Ankle weights themselves shouldn't do any damage.

i think that it will be safe for you to do this...but i really think you will be most uncomfortable honey...try and find another way to build yourself up...there are much more enjoyable ways i think!
