Let me tell you about it , and the sad thing is you will probably see them up for months from now. If you are to lazy to take them down when christmas is over dont put them uo...........they look tacky and its extremely GHETTO. My friend that is suppose to be so religious told me one day she was taking her tree down its still up and i asked her about it and she said shes never going to take it down it reminds her of jesus, what a excuse for her not to take the darn tree down.............im sick of it

I don't think it's the simple fact that they are just lazy. Some are just to busy between jobs to take them down. A lot of people wait until the weekend to do these kinds of errands but end up getting caught in other things more important. I think Christmas lights are a beautiful thing and we should keep them up a little bit longer. After all what's the point of going through all that trouble just to take them down right away? There are some cases where people are too lazy to take them down. No matter the reason there will always be someone who leaves their lights up longer then they should.

Who the **** are you calling lazy? I just so happens I leave my lights up all year long. Not only are they classy, they double as gutter hangers on my double wide. I'll have you know held a job for 3 weeks last year, and another one for almost 2. Better than anyone else in my community.

I'm so tired of seeing them still up at people's houses and what was even worse was when I went to a store the week after christmas and saw valentine's things already out.

Yes and it's wrong. There should be christmas light police that go around and fine people for leaving them up so long.

I'm tired of seeing the lights still out myself. But, perhaps they just haven't had the time to take them down yet.

It's bad enough to still have them up...but I still see some of them lit.
My neighbor gives me a hard time every year because mine come down before New Years. And of course his are still up and lit every night.
