It's not unique. A long time ago when not many have them, yes they were sexy. Now, they are just to mainstream and cliche, see most girls, chances are she has the lower back tattoo with matching navel piercing.

Oh my freakn God, you people are soooo judgemental, as long as the tattoo means something to you go for it! My grandmother had one she got when she was in her 20's and when she was 72 with alzhiemers, it was still one of the coolest tattoos I've ever seen. I've got one on my lower back that is on ratemyink.com. Its of a dreamcatcher with worrior feathers blowing in smoke. It will still be awesome when im 80. So I say get it.

I THINK this tattoo thing in general where ever it is debends on
- girl's size and body shape
-the design of the tattoo must suits the style of the girl
-if she wants to remove it oneday would it effects this area on the body or not

Depends. If it's just a peice of flash off the wall, I'd just think that she got it while on spring break and not think too highly of her. But there is nothing more beautiful to me than a well-done peice of original design that fits her body and personality. Then it can be pretty darn sexy.

If it's a skanky lookin' girl, then definitely not hot.

It also depends on if the tattoo is of good quality (the talent of the artist and the taste of the person).

NOT!

At least that's what your child's teacher will say when you bend over at the school picnic to take out little Jimmy's sandwich!

The older you get, you'll realize that trashing your body, is not cute. Just a fad that will soon fade away. But the tattoo's will never fade away.

So when you're an eighty year old trying to figure out what type of skin cancer you have growing on your back, remember back to the time when you thought tattoo's were hot,... it's not skin cancer, it's an unidentifiable butterfly tattoo!

I have one there. It is an flying eagle in front of a setting sun. Underneath it are the "freebird" lyrics "And this bird you can not change" by Lynard Skynard. It is NOT trashy. I chose it because it describes a part of my personality. I like where it is at because I can hide it or show it off, depending on the situation. And it wont get all stretched out if I decide to have kids one day!

That is so old. I knew when everyone was doing it, it was going to go out of style fast. I mean yeah a certain style people follow. Its ok when its wearing a certain outfit, or styling your hair a certain way. But this is a tattoo, its permanent. Why would anyone jump on that bandwagon?! It looks so trashy and so 2 years ago!!
