One thing it might be is constipation… I know eeewwww… your ascending colon climbs the right side of your abdomen, if you do not have enough roughage in your diet, or you do not exercise, or if you exercise without the proper intake of water this is a very simple situation to get into. So, drink 6 to 8, 8 oz glasses of water a day, and exercise. (The exercise helps with peristalsis, the action that moves food from your mouth to your bum.) All else fail, if the pain persists, see a doctor. Hope everything comes out alright… sorry couldn’t resist.

Impossible to answer. Because of the way the body is 'wired up' the pain can come from another part of the body.
Possible NOT in order of probability might be:
0) indigestion
2) arthritis
3) stomach or intestine polyps
4) heart

I would have to say, go to a doctor. It might be trivial, but it might not.

it perhaps appendicitis. whether it is, you are now not going to wish to attend till you get again to the states. You must pass to a health facility asap. in case your appendix ruptures, you would die.
