In addition to dictionary terminology:

In a nut shell it is the verbalization of what a fact is along with an event or events that lip service possesses no power to change. Facts are not qualified to include any lie no matter what mankind attempts. Truth is incapable of entertaining manipulation as truth exempt from being bothered by the game. It is true that a lie is an illusion people talk themselves into which amounts to nothing but a false sense of power.

Truth is what God represents and expects of us.
Truth is free ... dishonesty always results in a fee.
Truth will never be covered up using the statements such as personal perception or opinion as an excuse. This does not mean people have no rights and can't choose it means people have proven to abuse such statements ie: knowing the truth and stating a lie followed by "I have a right to my opinion etc".
Truth will never be a lie.
Truth is perfect however sometimes hard to acknowledge.
Truth will never be covered up.
"It will all come out in the wash someday" if it is toyed with.
Truth can only appear to be hidden for a short time by it's opposite so proves it really isn't hidden.
Truth is written in God's Word and it's all around us.
Truth and honesty are the same.
Truth can not be bought or sold.
Truth accomplishes peace.
Truth is always right it's opposite is always wrong.
Truth can't be explained away no matter how large the fit or how long the document.
Truth will not ever be wished away and wasting time attempting to do so will, without hesitation, begin to result in loss of spiritual health for one's short life on this earth no matter what title he/she achieves or money he/she has.

I have two definitions, both work for me:

1) Truth is anything that resonates in your heart the way a "c" note 2 octaves below middle "c" resonates with all of it's harmonics sounding at the same time.

2) Truth is anything that can be verified or recreated on demand, or something that can be documented with credible, compelling evidence.

(For me evidence is "compelling" only if EVERYONE is compelled, not just you. For example, gravity exists, and I can make a compelling argument by dropping a rock on the floor.)

Common dictionary definitions of truth mention some form of accord with fact or reality. There is no single definition of truth about which the majority of scholars agree, and numerous theories of truth continue to be widely debated. There are many differing claims on such questions as what constitutes truth, how to define and identify truth, what roles do revealed and acquired knowledge play, and whether truth is subjective, relative, objective, or absolute. This article introduces the various perspectives and claims throughout history.

John 17:17 Sanctify them with Your truth. Your word is truth.

Isa 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of God stands forever.

God's word is truth which stands forever. This beats all lesser truth which does not align with God's word and do not stand the test of time.

One's word shouldn't hurt others by anymeans. If a word is going to give a good thing to one,at the time,a lie will also come under truth.

Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No one can come to the father except by me"

God expects to find truth in our inner most being.

God is not a man that He can lie.

I think all this means God is Truth.

Truth. Unfortunately English words do not give the correct meaning of such words. In Sanskrit it is called SAT, which means the thing that remains constant for ever irrespective of place and time. Any thing that undergoes a change can not be called SAT which you understand as TRUTH.
