After 20 years my Epilepsy has been put down to Right Mesial temporal sclerosis. Can anyone in English (simple talk) tell me what that means?

Here is a start only:

I looked up "right medial temporal" in the yahoo search box on this site and got 621 results. Right medial temporal describes a region in the brain.

The word sclerosis refers to hardening. One example would be scar tissue. Any kind of hardish substance would qualify.
