You don't need to lose weight. Your BMI is normal. From your post, it sounds like you have a little bigger build than your friends. This may make you look 'fatter' than your friends in your eyes, when your bone structure is just wider.
For example, a friend of mine is exactly my height (5"4), but weighs about ten pounds more than I do. Her clothes are two sizes bigger, too. However, her stomach is flat and as hard as a rock. The difference is that I have a very petit frame, while she does not. So while she's bigger than I am, she's relatively thinner. Maybe something similar applies to your situation.
If you want to lose a little wait, you can safely do so, but don't do it because of your friends. You can be proud of and happy with your body the way it is now. Be comfortable with yourself. :)

Maybe u want to lose sum. last year i was 5 6 and weigh 139 pounds, i was fat, now i m 5 9 and i weigh 141 pounds, trust me i m not fat now. I converted most of my fat into Muscle. My body fat was 19.5 % and muscle mass was 11 %. Now my muscle mass is 25.1% and body fat is about 6.6%.
The thing i m trying to mean is that weighin more doesnt mean u r fat. U mite have big chunky muscles or u mite be fat. If u r fat, go hit the gym.

Please, you are not overweight (of course you know this and just want reassurance). Do not fall into the "pressure" trap from your friends too many young girls are doing this! This is not good for you...we are all different and just because one girl weighs 120 lbs does not mean you have to! Look at all the celebrities who have dieted so much they now look like walking corpses! The hell with what people think I say...as long as you feel good both inside and out...that's what counts!!

you don't need to lose weight at all. Your weight is just a number. The important thing is how you feel. Do you have energy? Do you live a healthy life style? Don't compare your self to other people or you will never be happy with your self.

If your bone structure is bigger, it just means you have heavier bones. You're definitely in the "healthy" weight range, but so long as you don't look plump, you're okay.

everyone has individual bone sizes thats why charts are not accurate, stop comparing yourself with others, eat healthy concentrate on eating good food. skinny women do not look good and its not healthy unless someone is small boned naturally that way, it suits them.

You need to lose weight if your waistline is expanding in direct proportion to your reaching for that donut or bag of chips.
