We can "see" the atom using various devices to measure its movement. The reason we believe they exist is because of the devices we have used to see them. We have seen how much they weigh, their size, their component pieces, and other things about them. We have even pushed individual atoms around with an electron microscope.

There is nothing that can be used to see any god because they don't exist.

The quality of evidence for the existence of atoms and gods just does not compare.

Hi, I'm not an atheist but I do find it interesting that many Atheist including some of those those answering this question, pose that their position is based on scientific evidence, when science by definition puts forth it's Theory of origins, evolution, Genesis etc., as just that. Scientific theory of the origin of human life has not been proven, yet many Athiest are open and often ready to grasp at these theorys.

Why is it that when science, you, or anyone on earth can not prove the exsistance of human life to be anything other than that of a supream creator, do you who claim to be open minded, in search of answers, choose to deny the evidence and harmony of natural laws of propogation all around you that are evidences that in perpetuity would suggest that there was a creator?

Just the thought of this obviously less than enlighten soul?

Oh, and Hi Meat Machine! Glad to see that you share your "wisdom here with those you aspire to be like as well!

people seem to believe whatever suites them not what is true. It is not like the atom is totally invisible bcos is just that u cannot see it through ur naked eye. There are machines/equipments that can be used to track that but with God is different. We can all look through to see the atom but with God is an individual thing bcos He is not a substance, nor a human being but Holy Spirit.

So for u to see Him u need to be transformed into a spiritual body and then u can see Him.

Thanx!!

We don't *believe* in the atom. Though we can't see it, it is possible to show that it exists through testing. If you're talking about denying the existence of god, then the reason people don't believe in God is not because they don't see him, but because there is no evidence for his existence (whereas there is plenty of evidence for the existence of atoms).

We cannot see an individual atoms, but that is because of their size, not because they are of any kind of supernatural nature. We can see large groups of atoms and we can easily perform experiments to prove atoms exist.

You can measure the energy from an atom. You can measure the effects of it. We don't say you need to see it, but there has to be SOME evidence that it exists. There is no evidence there is a god.

We can prove the presence of the atom and its components by consistent laboratory experimentation. So we don't "believe" in the atom. It is indisputably there.

You can see atom with a electron microscope.
You can see God only with your heart.

I don't believe in it.(the atom) I believe it is something, but I don't worship it, or tell others to follow it. Apparently someone saw it, or they wouldn't be trying to split it.

Sometimes we believe in things that are invisible but which are real. Air is real, but we cannot see it.

Sometimes we believe in things that are invisible but are not real. Like a child's dread of a monster under the bed.

Sometimes we do not believe in things that are invisible because we reason that they are not there. I no longer believe in monsters under the bed.

Just because I believe in one thing that is invisible does not force me to believe in everything that is invisible.
