DON't eat less than 1400 calories a day; it will send a message to your body that you're starving and your body will start saving all kinds of energy and looking for extra fuels to burn, like muscle tissue. Don't forget that your heart is a muscle, too!

The avearge woman burns about 2000 calories a day, but can be more or less depending on her daily activities, length and weight. (A heavier/taller person burns more calories doing simple activities than a shorter/thinner one, if only because it takes more energy to move the extra body mass.) So as you lose weight, you consequently need fewer calories to maintain that weight -- but never fewer than 1400!

Good luck! :)

My spouse has consistently quoted a minimum SUBSISTENCE caloric intake as 1200 energy an afternoon. it relatively is while you're sedentary, do no longer sweat, and stay in a climate-controlled ecosystem. For those people who walk around at artwork/college, sweat, could shop heat, could do extreme-order analytical thinking, etc, the greater advantageous quantity to apply is 2000 energy an afternoon. while you're an athlete, have a strenuous and complicated artwork extensive job, etc, then your caloric intake could be someplace on the factor of 3000 energy an afternoon.
