As someone who's "been there and done that" in the department of depression, I suggest you tell your parents or any adult with whom you have a close relationship. One thing I must inform you DEPRESSION IS NO RESPECTER OF AGE!!! I was 16 when I first suffered with it. Make an appointment with a doctor as quickly as possible. Perhaps see about getting on some anti-depressants. Keep a diary. And never EVER see suicide as an option. Think of those who will miss you. If you are the least bit religious or spiritual, cultivate your faith. And build up your physical health through nutrition. Love and respect yourself for who you really are, not what other people try to make you.

There is a God in Heaven who loves u and even sent his son on the cross to die 4 ur sins,so that u could live eternally with him when u die !!! When someone has a problem with themselves they need to turn to their CREATOR cuz hes the only one that can truly help u and nothing else!! Yes u might find temporary solutions but God will give u a perminent one ,which is wat evryone wants ...!!! Visit a local Church or ask to speak to a pastor who will take the time 2 show u Bible verses and help u understand more about the ONE who is the answer to all things...

Depending on what country your in,There should be a help line you could call and talk to somebody about what's getting you down,if you feel that you cannot talk to your parents.Look in your local phone book.Depression affects a very high percentage of the worlds population,So there is nothing to be ashamed of.You have more in common with most people than you realise.Help is available if your willing,And want to feel better.Their have been many famous people that have overcome depression and moved on with their lives in a happy and productive way. It's something you can beat,And i believe you can beat.I think it was Winston Churchill that coined the phrase,"black dog"Referring to depression. It follows you everywhere,BUT you can loose it if you try.Best of luck and god bless.

Well if you can not talk with your parents then i would suggest very strongly for you to go to the phone right now and call the local crisis line in your area and they will make sure that you get the help that you need. Also you can call the police and tell them, and you can call or go to the nearest ER, they will get you help, and i am sure that your parents will get talked to about this , cause they should be listening to what you have to say, and get you help if you need it. So please do not harm yourself , just pick up the phone and make the call, and they will get you the help that you need right now.

well hon, lets see, what can you do?? Where on your body are you cutting??Maybe, Im not saying you should, but maybe you should show her what your doing to yourself physically. You mean if you cried out to your dad that your about to commit suicide, he would say your to young to be feeling that way? You shouldnt have to practially hit your parents over the head before they listen to you. God, I feel so sorry for you.Is there any body out there that you trust? How about a preacher or minister? An older sister or brother? Maybe a best friend??If you have nobody you can trust hon, pick up the phone and call a suicide hotline. You want to live because you are reaching out for help now, and God knows I want to reach in and pull you out and say everything is going to ok, but I cant. Now please, please, find somebody who can. If you have to hit your parents in the head with a frying pan to get them to listen, DO IT! { I think I have one you can borrow} [smile]This is YOUR life hon, you do what you have to do to live. I certainly will be praying for you!! God Bless.

You must reach down inside your heart and find the strength to survive. There is a lot you would be denying yourself by dying.
Focus instead on having fun and doing things to make yourself happy. If you die, you will miss out on everything. I know it's hard, but life isn't all bad.
