too much water can possibly kill the plant. Its drowns it from the roots, which kinda sufficates it. Too little water is like starvation, its too weak to grow so it want, and eventually it will die. There is also, vitamins, and plant food tht can be given, but you have to measure and monitor you plant/flowers to see how they are recieving it. Also, might sound funny, but if you talk to your plants which produces carbon dioxide, it helps alot...dont worry about your neighbors....every1's into it..LOL
