Man kind mean creatures that look like man ie the human race. male, female, old ,young or children. these are all mankind

Though it means man like group or group which is of man it is apt if we could see is as
"those who are supposed to be kind".

Others should be excluded from this well-gifted group of nature though they physically resemble mankind.

kind - is the group which is known as human

so - 'man and woman group' but is called man only in the title
