Don't eat the cat food, feed it to the cat so the cat will get big and strong.
Then eat the cat

Hi, not personaly.
I know that the stuff is OK for human consumption, and if it does the cat no harm, I should be OK with it, suitably chucked into a casserole or whatever.
It is just the thought of it that puts me off.
Mind I have had such things as snake, snails, mongoose, etc, so a bit of pet food should be OK.
I suppose it has a stigma, in that it is not designed for humans, and very cheap.
Give it a whirl, and let me know what it tastes like, before I have the guts to do so myself as an experiment.
Cheers,
Bob.

I have never eaten cat food but when a cousin of mine was little she would go in the kitchen and eat the cat food out of both cat bowls along with the water. she does not do this any more she only did it when she was younger.

My father has - though he did not know it. He had been even more viscious towards me and one of my chores was to make his sandwiches for lunch each day. This time my mother helped me and added an extra touch - cat food and scrunched up tin foil.
He did not say anything when he got in from work.

Don't do it.it is a serious danger towards your health.they put "downer" animals in the food.Downer animals are animals that die before reaching the slaughterhouse, since they contract so many diseases, they aren't approved for human consumption,so where do they go?They are grinded up and fed back to other animals such as cows(who are herbivores) and they also go straight into our cat and dog food.

I don't know anyone who has eaten that, but my cousin and my sister once had a contest to see which could eat the most dog food. The hard crunchy kind.

I've tried dry cat food, the initial taste is surprisingly ok, but the after taste is really bad and sticks in your throat for ages.

By law cat food has to be safe for human consumption. So while it may not taste good and god know what bits of the animal they put in it (probably all) it won't hurt you.

I did it for a bet once, I was bet £50 that I wouldn't eat the whole can, but I did, and I won £50! It's very tasty too, although it is cold!
