My godmother promised to buy me a doll if I could avoid saying 'Yes, but' for a whole day.
'Since' came into my life, along with 'thus' when I was doing my 'A' levels.
Now that I spend a lot of time with Turkish speaking people, I have regressed. I frequently hear myself saying, ' Tamam, ama...', which means, 'OK, but...'
Don't speak much English these days, but I hate the word 'basically'. It's so 70s!

Probably, "F**k" and "F**kin'", in my case- (I could literally drop them two buggers every other bloody word, if I wanted to, and I used to too, but I've learnt to curb it and tone that language down over the years though!) Peace and love. Be lucky.

I try not to say things too much because I have a habit of counting other people's over used words. eg:
Um, like, sort of and went (instead of said) are all used to extreme.e.g.:-
"Um, I travelled to sort of London today and um, like I met this sort of um , dude and I went 'Hi Dude' and he sort of went sort of like..'Hi'...."

"Awesome". I say it way too much, usually in conversation where I don't know what else to say, so I'll just nod my head vigorously and say "Awesome.". It wouldn't be bad, except I just use it too much.

I guess for me it's 'the'. It seems to appear in almost every sentence I use.
