Ocado are a cut above the other delivery services. I have used:

Iceland - rubbish selection, needed to go elsewhere for basics, very cheap but mainly offered junk food
Asda - good for prices but poor selection on more upmarket groceries - not always on time and more substitutions than the others.
Tesco - average on prices but very good selection of items
Sainsbury's - Less expensive than Ocado but more expensive than Tesco, good selection of items. They are usually on time (2 hour delivery slots)
Ocado - Very expensive even for basic items but great if you cook more upmarket meals. Delivery is in 1 hour slots and delivery men are trained to take things into the kitchen for you.

I wish they delivered in my area. I love Waitrose supermarkets and wish there were more of them and John Lewis is a great store in every way. Since Ocado is part of this group so I would imagine they are totally reliable. I have found Tesco very snotty recently towards customer comments & complaints. Sainsbury's are OK but a bit pricey and Asda don't do deliveries where I live yet.
If I were you I'd definitely give Ocado a try.

I used Ocado over christmas. It was fine. Their range is limited (not a wide ranging as Tesco etc). But overall it was a good service. Give it a go and see!

I used them once. The service was fine, but I find them a little expensive for everyday groceries. I prefer to use Tesco.
