By layering up. Try wearing a vest, tshirt, jumper and a jacket.
Or take an extra blanket with you, so when you get one on the plane you will have 2 so that should keep you warm enough.
If not take some gloves and extra thick warm socks, or slippers.

The same principles apply whether you are in a plane or on an alpine slope. Minimise heat loss and make sure you take in some energy-rich food before your flight.
First make sure you turn off the blast of air overhead. Before the flight, eat something like porridge which will release energy slowly.
You lose a lot of heat from your head and extremities (feet and hands). Wear socks and gloves if necessary.
Use layering - next to your body wear a vest or or something (long johns are out if your destination is a hot place, you'll be boiling when you get to immigrations). Next wear a very light fleece or mohair jumper on top of your shirt/dress. Usually this should be enough, with the airline blanket(s), to keep you warm. If not, take with you a down-filled jacket. A high-quality one will be very light but very warm. Don't get those bulky ones used by skiers! Layering allows you to take off the layers you don't need when you arrive. In extremis, I would recommend a survival blanket (reflective foil ones used by runners at the end of their run) as one of the layers.

On almost all long haul flights these days each passenger gets a blanket and small pillow as standard. If this is not enough, the cabin crew will always give you a second blanket. Personally, I have never used even the one supplied and normally travel in just a short sleeved shirt, such is the heating on modern planes.

However, I would also add that eating as much of the food supplied would probably help too.

There are many things you can do, wear a hat, wear thick socks, wear thermal underwear and vest. Wear miltary gear allways keep me warm. Drink lots of hot fluid or food. To do something that makes you a bit nervous this should raise your body temp a little. Not much else.

make yourself adjusted with the cabin temperature... try walking in the cabin if you are flying medium to long haul flights. you can do simple excercises too such as arm/feet curls, and leg stretchings. you can drink some alcoholic drinks that are served inflight as well. however, if its just a very short flight asking the cabin attendant for a blanket can keep you warm and during service proper you can ask for hot drinks such as coffee or tea.
