That is the most disgraceful miscarriage of justice I have ever been privileged enough to hear tell of.
I guess that really shows the American people how seriously the government takes our national security.
Nice to see that the war on drugs is alive and well also(choke,gag, puke)
What on Earth was this prosecutor thinking?
I can't even think of something witty to say at this moment,I am honestly in shock.
No wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket- idiots are in charge!

Been following this story for a while. Very sad and pathetic. While I believe that everyone has rights regardless of where they come from, I do not believe that we should infringe on our citizen's rights just for the sake of a drug-runner.
They won't be pardoned. Our government will never admit fault.
There's also another story - a fatal shooting on the border of another runner. The Meixcan government is not happy, and they believe that they should be able to send their criminals here without a problem.

I think is very nice to see how our government
take care who put his own life on the line
this attitude can just promote a new national selfishness
that is already deeply diffused in ours society
who wants today jeopardize the own life for this government
with this continuous uncaring attitude and lies??!!!
maybe I have a wrong impression but look like
America is for sell and many Americans can't hear that!!!
however the evidences are there;
everything we buy here is made in china or from somebody else
the majority America companies has beed exported
to foreign country.

If the rule of law is to be followed, then the judge had no alternative. However if we are going to hedge a bit -and boy Bush hedges a lot - it seems unfair.
