So i have windows xp home and windows xp professional installed on the same hard drive, how would i go how would i go about unistalling home?

I suggest you not to do it manually. Just install Norton Partition Magic and try uninstalling the software. It has the flash animation for the process.

First you have to find out which partition xp home is installed on. Then using fdisk or something simmilar you need to delete that partition on your hard drive and home is gone.

check carefully and delete or remove Home`s Addition folder`s from your drive C:\ or In d:\ .best of Luck.

your best bet would be to leave the home edition on the pc unless you know what you are doing
