I think that almost two months of talking is long enough before you start going out. If you like the guy, I say go for it. Maybe he is just shy and doesn't really know how to ask you out. I think you should say something to him about the two of you doing something together to break the ice.

Good luck.

Sex is not everything. Try taking your time, maybe he actually likes you & wants to get to know you. If he just wanted some, he probably would have already tried. Sex is easy to come by, a decent woman isn't. If that's all you want, tell him. You to might last a few months, but it sounds like he might want more than a peice of a**.

I'd forget the bar idea ( usually too many distractions), but, I'd say something to him like "why don't we meet for coffee?"

This doesn't sound like you are asking him out on a date. And should put a little bird whispering in his ear that the next time he needs to invite you out. If he doesn't, then you know to move on.

Meet in person on date..ask him to meet at a bar or go see a movie...get to know eachother in person as opposed to your online personalities...

ASk him if he wants to meet in person. If he doesn't want to then he's not interested. I don't know if you can get to know him better unless you actually meet him in person.
