we were both really in love with each other but he broke up with me because he had been in hospital and had changed, i was devistated and it messed me up a bit. 10 months on and we have both changed, at the weekend he came round and said he had been so stupid to have broken up with me that he was broken without me. he asked me back and i said yes...but was it the right choice?

You need to think about the time you were together before and weigh up all the pros and cons of that period in your life and decide whether it is worth giving it a second chance based on that knowledge. Also, are you always going to be wondering when it will happen again, i.e. he walks out on you? Can you truly say to yourself that he really cares and loves you without question, if so, then forget any of the negative things that are troubling you and get on with enjoying the future together...life is short, don't spend all your time worrying about things that get in the way of enjoying it...

uggggghhhh I will probably get flamed for this - honestly though - in my experience NEVER GO BACK!!!!! you split up for a good reason and that reaon or reasons probably still exist - however - I will say - there is no harm in trying and you won't lose anything - and you never know - you could get your happy ending - I really hope you do - it would be nice if it did work out for someone! it just never did for me - but everyone is different!

as long as he makes you happy, if you were misrable without him anyway what have you got to lose? you dont know unless you try and from the sounds of it he broke it off with you because he cared about you. even if it dosnt work out its better then not knowing what could have happened because that will never leave you

before you consider his acceptance palce him/her the condition to know his/her statue, because he/she may come back for what he/she hadforgotten to takealong in the first place but if you are able to discorvered that he really made mistake of splittin accep but be vigilant and watchout for his/her character. and put him/her on trial to test his/her strenght of feelings.
