I have not tried Joint ease and cool oil. Glucosamine seemed to help for a while but did not do it completely. Some people seem to have results with it. MSM I never took but I took the Vitamin C as I thought that was what was the main component in MSM use…It did not cut my joint pains.
Arthritis is a combination of deposits which cause an internal inflammation in the joints. A multiple approach will give you the best results. These are the following tips to relief joint pains which are working for me and others. My own joint pains went away with Prosperin a natural hormone cream (I am above 40 and female) ¼ to ½ teaspoon 20 days out of the month. Men need Prosperon every day. A memory foam mattress was a gret help as was the use of Soothex a topical oil with no side effects.
Be sure to get enough calcium a day like between 900 mg. -1200 mg and eliminate soda’s and of course a healthy diet with enough exercise and enough water. Be sure to eliminate extra pounds. Avoid stress and negative thoughts and enjoy your life. This is a big key for healing
Many people I know have very good result with Soothex a herbal combination with Oregano/ Cayenne and Rosemary. There is a money back guarantee so…what do you have to loose?

Hi there hunnie! I am 27 years old and have arthritis since I was 11! Can i say know the pain and discomfort you must be suffering. I have had this since I was 11 and can I say I have tried lots of various drugs and alternatives therapies...... I advise heat and cold therapy, and its easy and can be done from the comfort of your own home! If the joint is hot and swollen apply a cold towel ( wet ) or some frozen peas ( wrapped in a towel ) to the joint and leave for 5 - 10 mins, or longer if preferred, and if the joint is cold apply a hotwater bottle ( wrapped in a towel ) for the same length of time, this helps the swelling and the pain and stops the joint from becoming stiff. Before trying Glucosamine, Aloe Vera, Calicum, Evening Primros or even cod liver oils meds always check with your gp, also see what the gp advises with drugs etc ( Light exercise and a healthy diets is also advisable! ) Try swimming or short walks, and rest inbetween!!!!! Don't over do it either..... Also ask about physio or hydro or even accupunture to relax you! I hope you feel better soon.

Those supplements you have mentioned are not cures but can help. Glucosamine is taken by many with arthritis and it is scientifically proven to help. I have spoken to others who take Rosehip extract (eg Litozin) and have had quicker results than with Glucosamine. There are now scientific studies that have shown that Roship can help the pain of arthritis and osteoporosis. It is also a powerful antioxidant too. Another herb is: sarsaparilla. Co Liver Oil can help keep the joints more fluid. MSM can help with pain. Another useful herb is Boswelia. To rub on: Tabritis rubbing oil (they do capsules too).

I have not tried any of them though I have arthritis (I manage with some mild pain medication like paracetamol (Acetaminophen as it is known and Tylenol is one brand in USA), and a few creams and gels. But I have read a good number of reports about MSM and Glucosamine. Check out www.about.com and www.mercola.com for good advice regarding arthritis. To know more about the mainstream medical information and management, check out www.webmd.com
There are several alternative health solutions like Homeopathy, Ayurveda etc. for treatment of arthritis. Pl. contact me if you need any information about these systems. My advice is FREE.

I've not had arthritis - just the odd ache - but my mum suffered from it for almost exactly a year. She cured it with a combination of diet and homoeopathy. She used the Arthritic's Cookbook by Dr Dong and Jane Banks. The diet was largely wholefood with plenty of fish and a lot of raw salads and oils such as safflower and olive oil, plus cider vinegar (good for the metabolism and calcium and potassium uptake) . Fish oil is a good idea but find a pure source as some of it is contaminated these days with heavy metals and other junk that we are putting in the seas! I've just written a short page about fish oil on my web site. Good luck with finding a solution.

Glucosamine Sulphate with Chondritin is best & tested. A lot of water has to be consumed by the patient, this is a must. Treatment is a bit lengthy may be upto 9 month it can continue but result is amazing.

my mum has arthritis in her lower back and she takes cod liver oil capsules every day - she insists it works for her. The thing is finding the one that works for you - just because it works for one person doesn't mean it works for another. If you really want to know what is best try them - give them a decent run to get into your system and start working - before you decide that one isn't right for you and move onto the next.
I hope you can find something that eases/helps you with the associated symptoms.
