I went on a first date with a really nice guy the other night. It was great, the food, conversation everything. Later in the evening we went to a bar and he bumped into his best friend. Now, I'm possibly the least romantic person ever but when I looked at his friend I just felt well.. woooaahhh! Yes he is attractive (as was my date) so I can reason that their was possibly a lust thing going on but it was such a strange feeling!
My date had a call from work and had to leave, he kissed me on the cheek, thanked me for a lovely evening and she's he's be in touch.. which he has been. He asked his friend to walk me home.. only a five minute walk from the bar. We sat there chatting and having an amazing time.
When we got to my place I thanked him for walking me home, he then said 'You didn't get a proper kiss goodnight' and he kissed me... and there is was again woooaahhh! He gave me his mobile number and went on his way.
Has anyone had a similar experience, this is totally alien to me!

The guy I went on a date with isn't my boyfriend as such.. just a date. I told him about what happened with his friend and he's Ok about it. He said that his friend has had a lot of bad luck with women and he thinks it's great that it's all worked out. Although a bit disappointed that he didn't get another date with me. Obviously we will be seeing each other now and then when I'm out with his friend which is great as he's a lovely man and we get on well. Maybe one of my friends will be a match for him eh!

i believe in love at first sight and its a feeling you just cant put into words. People who haven't experienced it say its lust but it isn't, its a whole lot more than that.

I think before you make any rash decisions you may regret, take a step back and look at the situation, try and learn more about his mate, cos he could be a player and does this a lot with girls and your date who you obviously like otherwise you wouldnt of been there in first place will end up getting hurt, also one thing concerns me . . . Do you think he may of been testing you???
people do do that you know to see if there with someone that can be trusted. i would def think about it long and hard first, if he is gorgous (his mate) then he most likely knows it and plays on it.
be careful, dont fall into the trap of mistaking lust with love x

yes! 2 years ago i went on hol with a friend having just come out of a relationship, one night in a club i looked up to see the most amazing guy i have ever laid eyes on and immediately fell for him, we spent the rest of the week together and i knew i loved him. unfortunately 6 months after we got home due to various circumstances and 200 miles we separated but we still email now and i've not felt for anyone else the way i did for him.

People who have never had the pleasure of love at first sight just don't understand and the people that have just cant explain it. I meet my partner and knew the day i met him that he was the one that I wanted to be with no matter what. I couldn't explain in any terms why but it just felt so right. We are still strong and in love now more than ever. Trust your feelings and good luck..
