It's because these women are insecure, and highly sexed. I know some women who will be with ANYONE. Its truely sad, but hey maybe theres an alterior motive. who knows, but i am not one of these women, thank god.

Girls who have previous relatiionship with any other guys cannot live single. They feel t hemselves insecure and unaccompanied by the friend. You know women are incomplete without a man. So when they come accross with any man in their love affairs, and they might have enjoyed the company of their friends weather sexually or otherwise, these girls cannot live single. It is quite natural to be living a girl with a b/f. So you are right to say that women are not prone to live single when they have met a man.

(*laughter*) That's usually with ones who are young and immature. A boyfriend is a status symbol, like having a Coach purse, and you're judged (in their minds) by your status symbols. There are some older women who have the same issue, but I see it mostly in the younger ones.

I'm the opposite, when I leave a boyfriend I usually need a sabbatical from relationships. (*laughter*) I would have to say my sabbaticals last MUCH longer than the relationship.

If you watch any program where the character is a single female you will see the message that society send women. "You need a man!" Women are frightned of being alone because we're told that we are supposed to be in relationships. If we aren't in relationships we're scared we're going to die alone.

I used to be like that, because we need another man to replace the one that we lost, so we don't hurt as much. And plus, the best way to get over someone is to like someone else. It's just something that makes us feel better. However, if they just fight that and not fall for the next person they meet, then they can break that cycle, like yours truly.

I have seen it happen, its like they will stay with a man until they have someone eles. like they need some reason to leave. They almost always say later that the 2nd guy wasn't worth it, and wish they had stayed with the 1st. Its like if a guy cares about them, they cant stay, if a guy is a prick thats who they want.

These women you know date compulsively to make up for their insecurity. I, on the other hand, am afraid of NOT being single.

personally I don't know. I am not like that. I am happy alone and if a guy adds to that, he stays around, if he takes from that happiness and drains my joy on a frequent basis, he is gone so I can get back to my happy life

Not this woman. I have a sister who is like that though. I ask her why? why? She stated, "I hate to be alone.I don't know how you do it." I guess there are people who cannot be alone. I'll take quality over quantity any day. : )

It's all image. They fear that they'll become an Ugly Old Hag, in later years. And they need someone else to blame for their mistakes.
