Adobe Acrobat is best, buts its spendy .....

However, you can find freeware and shareware programs to create PDF files (which is what you need).

There are 2 ways that I know of.

1. Install Adobe PDF writer... This will install a converter in ur MS WORD and EXCEL Program. Now whenever you create a word doc or a excel spreadsheet, there will be option on the toolbar to convert it to PDF.

2. Submit your document to online converters...they will convert your documents and send it via email.. Only drawback is that you lose font styles in online conversion. You will have to stick to standard font styles..

Go looking for shareware or giveaway software to do the job for you...

I have a copy of a program called pdf factory... it acts as a 'printer' as far as Windows is concerned... so you print your word document to it and it saves the output as a pdf file instead of printing it to paper. That means it can make pdfs out of anything that Windows can print.

Install adobe acrobat distiller on your computer once you are through open your word document or excel sheet then go to file menu select print and choose printer choose acrobat distiller on the option of printers and ten print.Your word document or excel sheet will be converted to pdf file automatically.
Or another method is after installing acrobat go to printers and set acrobat distiller as default printer.

Everything's easier on a Mac.

I have freeware called PDF995. It is a printer plug-in and prints ANYTHING as a pdf document.

It's great.
