Even Jesus had to admit "there would be poor always".... Even if we had the time and money to educate every person on the planet and give them all jobs the waves of the economic ocean would alway put some at the top and some at the bottom. Sort of like why can't everyone look like a super model or be as smart as a scientist or as strong as an Olympian.

Poverty in any country can be eradicated only by education and helping the poor people get some jobs. As saying goes"poverty is nothng but a sign of laziness"like wise if the people work hard and earn money poverty can be eradicated. It starts from house, society , and world. The goverment can also associate by putting some schems to eradicate poverty.

We may eradicate poverty of the world by ensuring equal distribution of the natural wealth as well national wealth among all . The nations shud plan out a very careful and systematic use of the resources available in their vicinity.
The nations of the world shud cater to the basic needs of the common people.
Equal distribution of the wealth is necessary to remove poverty in the world.
The most important factor which we cannot ignore is.... that the growing population of the world shud be controlled, then the eradication of poverty may be possible, secondly, job opportunities shud be made available to the masses.

There are so many emotional ideas. I hail their emotional feelings to eradicate poverty. Just comtemplate over the above advices, whether will those be practicable? think over and over, again and again. You feel the impracticability of those scenarios..right?
Here is the right advice! the right system told by The Creator and not followed by all.
The Islamic Zakath System. Every man should donate 2.5% of their wealth as Zakat every year and distributed among the poor. Just calculate the amount of money that will be pooled in, and the number of proverty stricken get eradicated every year.
The sadest thing is Zakath system is not implemented in its right sense.

By killing all the poor people.
Just kidding...
Completely erradicating poverty would probably be impossible. Equal distribution is nice in theory, but it would never work in practice. Even if everyone is equal, it's simply human nature to just want more. And to get more, either the implementing of some kind of system would have to occur (thus getting rid of equal distribution) or violence would occur, in which case it would be true survival of the fittest. I think at the moment all we can do is HELP poverty. Donate, volunteer, elect politicians who will fund/create programs that do that. Fix up the education system maybe? Stuff like that, to help it, not entirely solve with one easy answer.

first educate the poor people then they can get a job and many of poor people can become medium rich then some of the proverty can be eradicated
secondly the goverment may give support to the people they make pots and other handy craft with simple materials which is very beautiful to see but the rich people give only few money by buying it if the goverment buy that things in more money than the rich people they can get money and become rich
thirdly many people are spenting many monies in temples and other religion purposes if they are given to the poor people they can get a job and became rich i think wasting money in temple is a foolish thing if they are given to poors they will get the benifit from the god
fouthly do as like the this year's nobel prize winner muhammad yunus dis it will help to eradicate proverty
this 4 point will help to eradicate proverty from this world

This might not be possible as we see beggars and poor people even now in the DEVELOPED countires. Still I try to suggest some of the things!!.
Let us think whether this will help???
1. The money distribution problem: Since the rich people like politicians and business people have the complete control over the country, laws, business, and money flow, they posses so much of money. This leads to more number of poor people. I dont think people are paid correctly as per the job done. Hence, pay the correct money for the job, pay TAX and avoid the unbalance situation (rich and poor)
2. People should not be selfish. The money distribution is not the only solution. The rich people should help the poor in terms of money. Others can help in terms of knowlege, guidance, education, etc. People should not try to cheat anyone and should believe that everyone is equal and one amoung us.
3. THe handicapped and unprivaledged people should be taken care by the Government itself. This will avoid in the increase of poor people.

Poverty, like disease, crime etc. cannot be completely eradicated from this world, but it can be mitigated and perhaps made less prevalent than it is now. The fact is that no matter how hard we try, not all human beings will be able to take advantage of favourable situations to improve upon their lives. Those who dream of a poverty-free, disease-free, crime-free etc world are dreaming of Utopia and that is not how nature designed this world.

MABEL REBELLO ( India) said achievements, or lack of achievements, spoke for themselves. The first of the Millennium Development Goals, namely halving extreme poverty by 2015, could not be achieved on target without a significant flow of resources and an increased application of science and technology in developing countries. While private investment was important to achieve higher growth rates, the physical and social infrastructure in some developing countries was sometimes too weak to attract any investment. Sequencing was therefore important. Equally important was fulfilling the commitment of the 0.7 per cent target for ODA and debt cancellation by the developed world. It was also imperative to identify new sources of financing. Modest initiatives taken by India to help eradicate extreme poverty had included 500 million dollars in lines of credit to West Africa, grants of essential medicines, debt cancellation for heavily indebted poor countries and technical cooperation.
Developmental models and strategies pursued by India since independence had had a profound effect, she said. The poverty ratio had declined from 45 per cent to 26 per cent over the past two decades. New programmes were expected to reduce the poverty level by a further five percentage points by 2007 and by an additional 15 percentage points by 2012. India had also been paying close attention to promoting full and productive employment and to fostering social integration. As part of the latter, it had enacted a Right to Information Act ensuring greater transparency in Government. India’s experience could, in general, be useful for others to take into account. The role of the State was as important as that of the market; unleashing entrepreneurial energies was crucial; and education was an absolute must.
