just say you and a nother member of your imediate family work in the same place and 1 of them got suspended what would happen to the other member would they also get suspended and if they did would you have a good case in the eyes of the law

Not sure what you're getting at here. If you're asking if just because a family member you work with gets suspended from work, does that mean you will to, the answer should be no. You can only legally be penalized for acts that you cause or have knowledge of and fail to prevent. If your family member gets suspended for misbehavior, and your employer decides to suspend you to, even though you did nothing wrong, you have a great case. Civil suit for lost wages and damages would be a place to start. Also, depending on the circumstances it could even cross into the realm of discrimination.

I agree with the first poster. But, the big problem I see is since republicans cut funding for the labor dept so severely, you may wait 4-6 years to get your case heard. Because in that lengh of time, either the case will no longer matter, or the employer will find valid reason to terminate you! In either scenario, the fact that you filed a case against your employer will make it difficult for you find new employment.
