Pure or strict monotheism means the worship of only ONE Indivisible God, in the purest sense of the word, hence disqualifying the Christian Triune God, i.e. the Trinity. Orthodox Christianity, like Catholicism and Protestant Christianity still upholds the doctrine of Trinity, hence disqualifying itself from being a pure monotheism.
