A "Napoleon Complex" is more than just assertiveness. It's a need to compensate for lack of stature physically, by being excessively arrogant, demanding, and attempting to "rule the world", as it were. We call it "short man's syndrome" where I work, but it's the same thing.

I've run into the same behavior in taller men (and even women). It's just that Napoleon set both the height restriction and the bar on overbearing behavior...hence the name.

No there's a definate difference between being assertive and being a Pr*ck and I have know many men w/ napolean complexes (on my job).

Assertive is another word for @sshole, no matter how short or tall the man is.
